Sr. Lease Analyst
Reports to: Land Administration Manager
Position Type: Full Time
Location: 730 Town & Country Blvd Houston, TX
Target Qualifications:
- 8+ years in Lease Analyst/Land role
- Experience using Land software (experience in LandVantage and/or BOLO a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to manage high volume of leases and contracts
- Detail oriented, driven and self-motivated
- Available to work in office 5 days/week
Job Description:
- Analyze and set-up Oil & Gas leases, land contracts (surface agreements, easements, ROWs, water agreements, road use agreements), and other documents and files related to the company’s assets.
- Set up and maintain wells and units in Land system. Ensure leases, wells, and agreements are accurately cross referenced.
- Maintain and update agreements based on amendments, ratifications, releases, expirations, etc.
- Assist Land department by processing check requests, sending election letters, and tracking payout penalties.
- Monitor and confirm accurate representation of payment and obligation provisions in contract management system and on obligation calendar.
- Analyze obligation provisions to calculate and set up options to extend, minimum royalty payments, water use, shut-in, surface damages, easements, rentals, etc.
- Document and maintain holdings of company regarding acreage and working interest ownership.
- Assist Owner Relations with inquiries related to Lease Records

Wells Intervention Team Lead

Summary:
The Wells Intervention Team Lead is responsible for the safe and efficient planning, execution, and supervision of high-pressure gas well workovers within KTG's South Texas assets. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise all aspects of well intervention operations, including but not limited to:
- Workover planning and execution, including rig selection, equipment mobilization, and personnel coordination.
- Wellbore integrity assessments and remedial actions.
- Fishing and recovery operations.
- Well control procedures and emergency response planning.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, industry best practices, and KTG's safety policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges as they arise.
- Monitor and track well intervention activities, including costs, timelines, and performance.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of daily activity reports and other required documentation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, service providers, and regulatory agencies.
- Mentor and train junior team members on safe work practices and technical procedures.
- Continuously improve well intervention processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Engineering, Operations, Geology) to optimize well performance.
- Analyze well performance data and identify areas for improvement in well intervention strategies.
- Stay abreast of industry advancements in well intervention technologies and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience. High pressure gas well workover experience preferred.
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of wellbore dynamics, completion techniques, and stimulation methods.
- Experience with well control procedures and emergency response planning.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to the field on a regular basis.
- Strong safety and environmental awareness.
Required Skills:
- Leadership with the ability to engage at a detailed technical level as needed.
- Ability to simplify complicated well situations and resolve in a prioritized manner.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
