Sr. Lease Analyst
Reports to: Land Administration Manager
Position Type: Full Time

- Experience using Land software (experience in LandVantage and/or BOLO a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to manage high volume of leases and contracts

- Available to work in office 5 days/week
Job Description:
- Analyze and set-up Oil & Gas leases, land contracts (surface agreements, easements, ROWs, water agreements, road use agreements), and other documents and files related to the company’s assets.
- Set up and maintain wells and units in Land system. Ensure leases, wells, and agreements are accurately cross referenced.
- Maintain and update agreements based on amendments, ratifications, releases, expirations, etc.
- Assist Land department by processing check requests, sending election letters, and tracking payout penalties.
- Monitor and confirm accurate representation of payment and obligation provisions in contract management system and on obligation calendar.
- Analyze obligation provisions to calculate and set up options to extend, minimum royalty payments, water use, shut-in, surface damages, easements, rentals, etc.
- Document and maintain holdings of company regarding acreage and working interest ownership.
- Assist Owner Relations with inquiries related to Lease Records

Senior Reservoir Engineer
Position Summary: The Senior Reservoir Engineer will have an impactful role leading and conducting reservoir development and production operations, including field development planning, reservoir performance analyses and asset evaluations in support of building a large-scale natural gas development company.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct all aspects of reservoir engineering activities, including field development, well performance evaluation, reservoir analysis, and asset evaluation for reserves and ongoing business development opportunities.
- Create and implement workflows to evaluate and manage assets optimally.
- Lead reservoir studies, performance reviews, and improvement efforts that drive value.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to generate and execute annual development plans that maximize production and value for the company.
- Support Finance & Planning team to maintain production forecasts, type curves and provide input for quarterly reserves process and bank redeterminations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering, or other related engineering field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as a Reservoir Engineer.
- Proven track record in field development, reservoir surveillance, production forecasting, and reserve estimation; some A&D experience a plus.
- Experience with advanced simulation techniques and classical reservoir engineering methods, including Rate & Pressure Transient Analysis, Material Balance, Volumetrics, Decline Curve Analysis, and Project Economics.
- History working in unconventional resource plays, gas reservoirs a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capability to identify solutions on projects with a high degree of uncertainty.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in Aries, Harmony or other related reservoir modeling tools, Spotfire and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Skills:
- Working knowledge of ComboCurve, Whitson+, and/or Power BI

Completions Engineer
Completion Engineer, South Texas Eagle Ford.

This role will be primarily responsible for the following:
- Develop step-by-step procedures to achieve specified well objectives safely and efficiently.
- Procedures will incorporate engineering controls, provide guidance on well control equipment and practices, and comply with company safety best practices and standards.
- Generate cost estimates and AFEs by GL codes associated with planned work scopes.
- Conduct historical well review to support procedural recommendations.
- Engage with other engineering and operations functions to manage process planning and execution.
- Develop and monitor KPI reporting of completions with respect to spend, delivery of planned objectives, and scheduling (planned vs actuals).
- Manage expenditures and performance relative to AFE’d budgets and communicate variances.
- Perform post job analysis and develop improvement strategies.
- Develop workflows for leveraging technology to extract value from historical operations and cost data.
Skills / Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering or related engineering discipline.
- Experience in Engineering with minimum 5 years E&P company experience with a technical competency in completions.
- 2 to 3 years of experience developing unconventional completion procedures for HPHT Eagle Ford or Haynesville is desirable. Field experience is a plus.
- Ideal candidate will also have production or well intervention experience that includes writing procedures to workover producing wells with lift equipment including rod pump, ESP, or gaslift.
- Working knowledge of downhole tools and equipment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with computer software: Microsoft Suite, Wellview, and Spotfire or Power Bi.
- Ability to work flexible work schedule, including long and/or irregular hours and regular travel to the field.
